What is a NVOCC?
A NVOCC is an ocean carrier who transports cargo under its own House Bill of Lading, while not operating their own vessels. They contract space with another ocean carrier or Vessel Operating Common Carrier (VOCC). Allison Shipping is a licensed and bonded NVOCC (OTI # 17691N).
